In case you’ve missed the country music shitstorm that is #SaladGate, radio consultant and super cool dudebro Keith Hill gave some advice to country radio stations: Play fewer of those pesky female artists. Hill told industry publication Country Aircheck, “If you want to make ratings in country radio, take females out… they’re just not the lettuce in our salad… the tomatoes of our salad are the females.”
The “tomatoes” have had a lot to say about that.
