Every October, companies release products in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Now, pink-washing (making products pink in the name of Breast Cancer awareness) can be a dangerous trend as we have seen in previous years and even recently. But here at BUST we have complied a list of fun items to purchase to look good and feel good. Why feel good? Our list donates 100% (yes, you read that right) of the proceeds to cancer awareness and research.

Stella & Dot’s Strength Bracelet is inspired by the power and loyalty of the elephant. 100% of the proceeds through October benefit the Noreen Fraser Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to cancer research. ($39 www.stelladot.com)
Aerie “Charley” Bra
The limited edition Aerie Charley Bra will donate 100% of proceeds go to Bright Pink Foundation, a non-profit focusing on the prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer. ($29.95, www.ae.com)

Alex Woo teamed up with breast cancer survivor Christina Applegate for his “Tree of Life” necklaces. 100% of proceeds go to the actresses Right Action for Women Foundation. (www.alexwoo.com)
Rag & Bone, SNL, and Saks Fifth Avenue
Rag & Bone has released a t-shirt called “Key to the Cure” to help cancer research. They teamed up with Saks Fifth Avenue and cast members of SNL to promote the t-shirt that will donate 100% of proceeds to the Women’s Cancer Research Fund. ($35, online and in stores)
