You’ve probably eaten a cupcake, but you’ve probably never eaten a cupcake as unique as one of Robicelli’s creative concoctions. Matt and Allison Robicelli — pastry chefs who used to work at fancy restaurants — are trying to marry the mindset of a pastry chef with the affordable cupcake to bring “crazy delicious food to the average Joe.”
Robicelli’s has a rotation of over 100 flavors and counting, but they’re bringing one of their most popular and unusual cupcakes, the Chicken n’ Waffles, to the BUST Magazine Craftacular and Food Fair this Saturday, May 21 at 82 Mercer St. Their Craftacular cupcake menu will also include Peach Ghost Chili, El Guapo, Car Bombs, and some yet-to-be-announced surprises, so be sure to stop by their table!
