You Probably Think This Post Is About You

by Intern Laura

Well, if you think you’ve got a shot at figuring out who the subject of Carly Simon’s  “You’re So Vain” is in the form of a music video, it is!  People have been speculating who the rock’n’roll classic is about since the song hit airwaves back in 1973 and Carly is giving her fans a chance to finally put the rumors to rest.  Fans and filmmakers are encouraged to submit original videos to accompany either the original or newly recorded version of “You’re So Vain,” featured on her critically-acclaimed album Never Been Gone. Entries will be screened and selected by Simon herself and the winning video will be featured on AOL Music’s Spinner.com and screened at the Tribeca Film Festival this April where the winner will have the chance to meet Carly Simon!  Please submit entries by April 15th.  There are even optional tools to help you get started.  See the contest website for details.
